Captain Tsubasa II: World Fighters is an upcoming anime-style soccer action game developed by Tamsoft and published by Bandai Namco. Serving as the direct sequel to Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, it is scheduled to release on August 27, 2026 (August 28 for Steam) across PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The campaign picks up four years after the events of the previous game, following Tsubasa Ozora and the Japanese national team as they take on the world stage. The narrative features expanded storylines supervised by original series creator Yoichi Takahashi.
