Set one year after the events of Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, New World of Steam begins when Layton’s apprentice Luke Triton sends a letter to his mentor, requesting Layton’s aid with a mystery. Layton travels to the American city of Steam Bison, where rapidly-advancing steam technology has led to the creation of mechanical horses and carriages, flying machines, and many more wonders.
