Even though they have announced a much better Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain, D3 Publisher hasn’t given up on EDF 5. A few days after they released the 4th PV, here comes the 5th PV.

Sign up to protect the Earth. The year is 2022. The Earth Defense Force (EDF) is in a war with the alien invaders. In this action shooter, play as a soldier of the EDF to exterminate this endless wave of giant creatures and save the Earth.

Meet the aliens in charge. For the very first time, the aliens behind the war make an appearance for the first time in the series. These intelligent beings bring a whole new level of despair to the Earth. Show them what the EDF are made of.

Play online co-op in the largest EDF yet. The game offers largest number of missions and weapons yet as well as co-op online play for all the missions with a maximum of 4 players. A 4-way split screen option for offline play is also available. With 4 playable classes, now is the time to fight alongside the soldiers of the EDF.

The game will be available on PlayStation 4 starting 7 December 2017.
