The ultimate action RPG begins on the Isle of Seiren! Embark on a new Ys adventure with Adol and discover the mysteries behind the mystical maiden Dana in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA

Adol is on a passenger ship called “The Lombardia” that is headed from Xandria to the continent of Eresia. However, the ship is attacked and sunk by a giant creature, and Adol wakes up, he realizes he is on the shores of the cursed island, known as “Seiren Island.”

For the first time ever in YS Series, you will play with the Dual Hero/Heroine System. You’ll play as Adol & Dana in this game. But what makes the two of them connect? You will have to play the game to find out about that. Dogi, Adol’s partner returns in this game as well but not as a playable character.

I already finished the game back when they released the Japanese Version and I must say that this is the best YS Series I ever played. The action is of course, but the story is really, really awesome. This time they put a lot of effort to the story, and if you like Action RPG like I do, then you have to grab this game as soon as possible.

YS VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA is available now on PS4 & Vita while the PC Version is delayed until sometimes later. Here is the official statement from NISA team.
