The latest Pokémon Presents showcase, held in July 2025, delivered a wave of exciting announcements for fans worldwide, spanning new game titles, animated series, real-world attractions, and mobile game updates.
The event, kicked off by DJ Pikachu, outlined The Pokémon Company’s ambitious plans for the franchise’s future.

New Game Titles & Major Updates
- Pokémon World Championships (2026): A new game allowing players to import Pokémon from Pokémon Home or catch new ones for online and private battles. It supports single and double battle formats and introduces a new training system for stats and movesets.
- Pokémon Friends (Released): A new puzzle game now available on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
- Pokémon Scarlet & Violet (Switch 2 Update): Significant performance enhancements on Switch 2 with improved framerate and resolution. New Tera Raid events featuring Shiny forms of Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu.
- Pokémon Z-A (October 16 Release): This highly anticipated title launches alongside a Switch 2 bundle, bringing major updates including an expanded Lumiose City, Z-A Royale battles, and a dedicated photo mode.
Animated Series & Entertainment
- Pokémon Concierge Season 2 (September 4): The popular Netflix stop-motion series returns with new episodes.
- Pokémon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch and Pichu (2027): A brand-new stop-motion TV series from Aardman Animation is set to debut.
Real-World Theme Park
- PokéPark Kanto (2026): Japan’s first permanent Pokémon theme park will open at Yomiuriland, with tickets going on sale later this year.
Mobile Games & Event Highlights:
- Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Max Finale (August 23-24): This global event will feature various “Max Pokémon” and the worldwide debut of Eternatus. Players can use the promo code GOFESTMAX for a Gigantamax Pokémon.
Spin-off Mobile Game Updates
- Pokémon Masters EX: Look out for Carmine & Sinistcha arriving in the Poké Fair from July 29 to September 6.
- Pokémon Café Remix: Grab Captain’s Outfit Lapras from July 23 to August 21. Ocean-themed decor and special crew costumes for Alolan Meowth, Totodile, and Minccino are also on the way.
- Pokémon Sleep: Prepare to research Raikou, Entei, and Suicune this September. A new area, Amber Canyon, is also set to debut in November.
- Pokémon Unite: To celebrate its fourth anniversary, Latios joined the roster on July 18, with Latias following on August 8.
